Why is that so frustrating?

Alright I’ve fucking honestly had enough

The most absurd I’ve heard someone else say IRL is things like “I’d transition the other way” and “I want to take T” from someone who essentially socially transitioned as a teen and still hasn’t realized it in their 60’s.
What does it mean to socially transition as a teen? Wouldn’t that include pronouns and stuff?
Pretty much. She presented as a guy and typically gendered as a guy, both in-person and over the phone, and I’ve never seen her ever correct someone on that.
I once stupidly thought to myself “I want to be a pretty woman, but that doesn’t mean I’m trans! Many cis women people want to be pretty!” for context: I’m not a cis woman.
[Edit: to be fair, at that time my understanding of transgender excluded people pre-transition]
transgender excluded people pre-transition
so that’s why some say they don’t want to become trans
Understanding what “being trans pre-transition is like” was what cracked the egg for me.
“I’m not trans because I’m pre-transition” is certainly a unique way of to looking at it.
I feel personally attacked. Don’t worry I realised eventually.
Adhering to the prime directive is a real challenge sometimes
“I am not trans, I just like the aesthetic!”
Me when I was a teen : "that’s normal to want to be a girl. When you’re a boy. The opposite must be true too. "
“Me the dense dummy”
The other way around: “but obviously everyone wants to be a dude, look at Mulan!” And several people whom we would today understand to be trans men.
My headcannon is now that the final Super Saiyan form is a gender swap.
