It’s definitely a wrong answer.

Asked my partner to look at this without any knowledge of what it is.
They say it’s a voice box panel for a robot.

As long as you don’t jump on AAA title games on launch day, you’ll be fine gaming on Linux.
That, or if you are a fortnite, LoL addict… Those don’t work for reasons totally up to the devs.
A pawn also magically disappears in the second image.

Who is it going to financially devastate? Most Americans have no investments, no savings, and no retirement. 10,000% inflation is almost as hard to deal with as 50% for people living paycheck to paycheck already. For the investors/ruling class, a free falling dollar does a lot more damage.

I got my not-quite-as-techy friend to switch, and they’re like a week in and already so pissed off about how bad windows was.

Mocking up whole websites seems like a pain. With a Pihole, you can create different service groups for computers and apply a whitelist to just their machines. Plus you get adblocking too!

Own a modern firearm to shoot fascists foot soldiers, as the founding fathers intended…

I saw an interesting video where there was some frame by frame analysis from multiple angles, and you can see a flash that seems to be from a gun firing reflected off a window, and when you account for the distance and time of flight, the bullet was travelling too slow to be a 30-06.
And my layer to this conspiracy is that it was a 30-06, but it was moving slower than expected. The (alleged) shooter said he grabbed his grandpa’s gun specifically because it was seldom used and unlikely to be noticed as missing. It’s logical that he was using grandpa’s old ammo too, thus the firearm was not performing nominally. This explains the neck shot too. The shooter was going for the head, and the bullet dropped further than expected because it was traveling slower.

What about 220 grains of fent going 2400 fps into your neck?

Mint?
Plenty of videos of people asking trump supporters and good christians at pro-life rallies to sign petitions to guarantee free lunches and childcare for every kid… With predictable results from the people attending.
I get the point the comic is trying to make, but saying that more guns means more people die from guns isn’t really a “gotcha”… In places with fewer guns, fewer people are using guns to do their murderings.
I’d be more interested in a graph that shows total murders per capita compared to gun ownership per capita.
Before I get dog-piled, I’d like to add that I know that there are too many guns in the US, and the process to buy a firearm is surprisingly lax. I do think there is a relationship between gun ownership and the murder rates, and the fact that most school shootings don’t even make the news anymore (and if they do, it’s for less than a day) indicates that the frogs have been completely boiled at this point.

“Community” and “Like-minded individuals” are mutually exclusive for my shut-in antisocial ass.

I can honestly say that I dread the future of tech, and the goat farm thing sounds really appealing.
I went to a local store the other day and saw 2 new flock cameras that went up. There was one person manning 8 self checkout stations, and there was a camera watching me scan and bag my own stuff while displaying a live feed of me. I hopped in my car, which automatically turned on GPS and then my phone started giving me “helpful” suggestions like " have you tried out this restaurant nearby?" and “it’s been a while since you’ve been to the pet store to get stuff”. I suddenly felt like a boiled frog, because I don’t remember turning any of that shit on, or being notified about it being turned on, or seeing info about new surveillance cameras going up in the community. At this point, I want to buy some land in the middle of fucking nowhere and disconnect from all that shit, and I legitimately had a low-level panic about all of it.
Mines are mostly banned. Unless you’re in the US. We didn’t sign those treaties for some reason…
