It’s a shift as more dedditors and mobile users migrate. I think I’m going to try some forums that don’t have an app so that there’s some entry barrier. I just can’t understand people posting pointless shit that doesn’t contribute to the conversation.
Yep, the content of comments is often good, but geez, there are a bunch of people with no social skills being total dorks or confidently incorrect

Well yeah, the plants worship the Sun.
And fungi digest us all.

Remember, it was the F-erman vs Dr. Oz in that race. One coin has 2 faces.
Change it to 2035 or 2040 and check back. I’ll bet you for your air conditioning credits against my houseplant allowances that it’s more like this than not.
Don’t get a new Samsung. I liked mine until they moved/force updated to OneUI 8 like 3 months in and I have hated it since. I have an old LG 5g that I’m bringing out of retirement once this thing is paid off. Miss that SD card, 3.5mm aux, and a stable, reliable, predictable UI. Glad I took care of that old phone since LG is out of the market and we have like 3 options in the States for phone hardware anymore…

It’s a cultural thing. We in the anglosphere have been mentally poisoned to need everything to be transactional or cost to benefit analysis based. ‘What’s in it for me’ mentality.
Date other cultures to find what you’re looking for, but there will be other expectations from you, as well.

Explain
Regardless of the Snoop, never try to 100% life. Always leave sometime to strive for.

It’s been a problem since we starting arranging life for cars over life for humans, so probably all the way back to when gasoline was $0.24 a gallon…
Correct, 80-20% is the healthiest range for batteries, but I don’t think it makes too much of a difference to be honest. Then again I replaced the battery of my Nexus 5 in like an hour back a decade ago, but no idea if something like that is still possible

You are correct. I had a ZUK phone at the time, it kicked ass. Miss that little thing…

I think I’m thinking of ZTE, the change was like 2016-2017.
I had a ZUK phone at the time, and it was amazing. Lenovo bought them and incorporated them, and my Lenovo phone was also excellent but useless in the States due to using different bands/lack of software for the West.

I’m going back to an old LG phone after my current phone dies. There really has not been much real progress in hardware or software, more like loss of features and controls with new updates these days.

Wait, wasn’t HTC banned from US sales due to security concerns about Chinese devices?

Studied abroad, made some friends. One asked me to ride along to his work. His work wasn’t ahhh, ‘above board’ and he had pissed off his boss, so he took me along as insurance that he wouldn’t be treated badly as their govt would be very pissed to have a foreigner disappear as well. Holy smokes, that was an intensive language immersion experience.

Get some fiber thru ya! Beware of diverticulitis, mortar maker.

Idk, I can get behind (more like over) a bidet, but a butt blower seems unsanitary and stinky.
2001 is close enough for 225.
