I have no issue with using the terminal myself, but you’re expecting other people to use something that’s foreign and unneeded when it’s not even safe to do so. Internal kernel ABI instability affects anything that depends on out-of-tree drivers (which games do). GPU drivers, input drivers, and certain middleware -all affected, and all can break games.
