Yes apparently rich assholes congregate so when one slights another then we (the plebs) hear the incriminating details because they were personally impacted, but never earlier. Whoever came out is no hero but hopefully their story is heard.

Do we not see how this caste system sucks? It’s not exactly untouchables like some castes but it’s a caste system. We are their fodder, the (few) rich get power.

Now I am not advocating violence but numbers should show who has real power in the world. 3500 billionaires and 8.5 billion people, can’t we make it better for the 8.5 billion rather than the 3500?

Seeing even just the moon (have managed to see a few other stellar objects) through a telescope is awesome. Haven’t checked out the pics yet. Getting to see something far away really puts things in perspective. Billionaires only have power because we let society run this way (mean sort of anyways), they are nothing but a mote on tiny mote getting their power. We need to be better as humans and society.

I’ll even say use binoculars you can see craters on the moon, more with a telescope though. That’s another solid world but only related to us cause it’s our moon. Check out Jupiter or Saturn sometime, it’s so satisfying if you can find them, the rings on Saturn which may appear like one of those cheesy bouncy balls with something to stand on, but it’s another freaking planet. And our system is a barely a mote in the galaxy let alone the universe. We are fighting each other for random crap when we need to look out there for improvement.

I get sad thinking about how much conflict we have as people over the tiniest issues. Also looking at stuff outside our planet is fucking awesome.

Honestly that’s a legit question I truely miss those things in movies often, even if I’ve seen them a lot, not nearly as much as EP 4-6 of course, but close since it was on repeat at the electronics store I worked at.

I thought the intent was to show the Jedi more naive, but holding to their ideals in the face of danger. Even if it meant all but a few got killed. But also show that their ideala lived on in the end (unsure about extended only read a few books) so they sort of win too.

While I agree I sort of wonder if Trump has a request that was a bit too far, like covering up more of Epstein issues than she’s already done or saying even something more incriminating to other issues.

Maybe that’s why I have too much of it then. Also think it does worse for people to believe in things that have no factual basis for being real. We need to learn we are humans, an sentient being but just an animal, we aren’t special and we have issues and need to deal with them in a healthy way.

I believe I misread and was thinking of other articles then, oops my apologies. Oil shipping at about 20% worth of world wide though, that’s a big enough chunk to make anyone with a vehicle cringe, regardless of where you are. It’ll eventually hit. Also sure that oil is used in many places not just vehicles to pump up the prices for consumer products. Though unsure of exact oil types on where it ends up exactly, apparently a lot of Asian countries… Which have many manufacturers for our random crap we enjoy.

Sorry I think in the end my answer is that the oil is so much for the world economy that alone is enough to screw the world. To the point that other factors may not be an issue (they may be and I may be ignorant too)

Well democratic (Western ones) countries don’t often show how upset they are with other western countries unless it impacts them. They may not condone actions but I’m pretty sure none of them ever liked dealing with Trump.

There’s that one picture of Trump in his first term sitting down while (I think) Merkle(sp?) was trying to explain something, there were other people in the shot and all (or mostly standing facing Trump) while he looked like a kid getting a lesson. They were okay for internal issues, well maybe not fine but mostly they wouldn’t say anything, but this round he’s fucked the world economy so yeah make sense. So I think they voiced their opinions previously as well just not in headlines as much.

Also the US has taken the lead so often, and (used to have) soft power that they managed properly.

Basically Trump (well his handlers) have effed up the social order so much it’s time to set the line. Sucks it took this long, cause all should have been done first term when the US elected a petulant child as leader.

Though I imagine it comes down to money as usual as you said, cause heaven forbid we figure out a way to run a country without billionaires making their voice known.

It’d be great if the people’s voices were heard for sure. Fortunately when time comes there are more of the regular folk than them. While I don’t condone violence it sucks that they can use violence and legal issues to make their goals happen without pushback.

Well their countries aren’t antagonizing Iran so they can be okay. There’s only really two countries that decided to poke them and those country’s ships won’t be allowed. Though some fee may be required but not sure the antagonizing countries get the option of a toll.
