Cannot believe this is controversial tbh, I hate creeping Americanisms as much as the next guy, but the very fact people are arguing about it here is proof that “football” is ambiguous in online spaces

This is a bit reductionist. There are plenty of countries around the world where “football” doesn’t refer to soccer (i.e. any country with a large national football code, gridiron, or rugby)… Australia, new Zealand, South Africa, Pacific islands, Ireland, etc…
Football simply means Aussie Rules in Australia. Don’t lump us in with the yanks lol.

As an Aussie visiting Europe that regularly deals with these temperatures… This is so much more uncomfortable than an Aussie summer. But it’s an easy fix: make AC a standard measure (the amount of shops and restaurants here that are high 30s INSIDE is something I’ve never seen before), make free drinking water a legal requirement, and make public toilets a thing too (so people don’t need to worry about hydrating!)

Currently visiting Europe from Australia. The heat’s undeniably quite bad, but it’s high time Europe started investing in public infrastructure, building codes, and service laws to support people in these heat waves. I’m shocked at how difficult it is to access water anywhere!!

Sucks that public video appears to be the only source of providing accountability for these thugs. If police aren’t doing anything wrong, they shouldn’t have anything to worry about.

Very lucky not to have been worse tbh

He’s got the strongest superpower of anyone in the show (plot armour)

We need more snakes!!

I’m no connoisseur, but Brotzeit in Joondalup has some good savoury ones.
Honourable mention to the UWA tavern Oktoberfest pretzels, they always hit the spot.

Kinda surprised it’s not already

Worth noting that the motivation for this is to give the state parliament extra powers to reveal fuel information from retailers about supply levels. The government requested six retailers provide supply chain information, but only three complied.
What country is this? Isn’t this kinda… normal?? The fine seems excessive though (depending on currency)
