People pay people at HR block who don’t know about taxes either to file. No one gets in trouble because the only people who know tax laws work for the very wealthy. Or at the IRS where there are about 100 of them to 300m of us.
I know where you are coming from, but i can assure you the people who are being audited are being audited for a reason. Either it’s claiming false dependents or credits they are not entitled to. I’ve seen people try to claim a $50000 refund but there income is only $5000. What happens is these people go to some random person on the street who says they can get them a bigger refund and they don’t question it.
I am reasonable… I am hearing you but the ultra wealthy have this country on its knees. When the leaders steal the peasants do to. Thats why you got to have a iron fist. Lower level offenders have relative inconsequential gains and I think in terms of cost to benefit ratios as I favor only in this particular instance, a top down approach. To crush the ultra wealthy as they stand inbetween us and collective success. Billionares should be scared. What we have now is socialism for the rich, unions for the dogs and scraps for the rest as the Minotaur chases us through the labyrinth of tyranny. Taxes in other countries and filling for them is not a stupid maze. They want you to mess up like the walmart self check out that charges twice and then the managing percerption receipt checker that doesn’t even notice you were charged twice. It is a hidden tax in a game of russian roulette with the gun pointing from above and we now got chatgipty to feed us half truths as the top apes chomp cigars. People who are broke will use this gipity nonsense like check cashing services and eventualy as the empire dies back we will cannibalise as this will become the standard for all… and you know what all that money will support the same system that is commiting a genocide. Talk about a conquer population. We have such low standards.
The top ways people plan to use AI is to help answer filing questions, find deductions or credits, and review returns for mistakes.
If you can’t afford a professional, these don’t seem particularly unreasonable. I certain wouldn’t recommend feeding all your info into chatgpt etc but for a simple filer, asking an LLM for explanations or possible deductions seems fine.
Not everyone has access to the same resources that I do, so I try to picture it from others perspectives.
If you need tax help, call your local library, they often have tax help. Also if it seems like a tax dodge, don’t take the deduction. Don’t outsource your brain to an LLM. You’ve done your taxes before without a GPT you can do it again.
I have two chatgipty robots on my servers… they are resource hogs and they waste my time. I gave it the old college try but I would rather a central authority and a easy process than double checking / double handling the garbage that the techbro chatgipity stole. It is like the nazis were bad but aleast we have rockets. Always put blame on the consumer, shelter themselves from liabilities and keep maxing out the nations credit card like there is no tomorrow To the point were the currency ain’t shit and we are all trading in fart coin which can be taken away by the super structure if we don’t kiss the ring.
