I was under the impression that Trump used the crypto scam as a way of taking bribes, and that the people who were scammed out of their life savings was just a nice sort of bonus for Trump.
Yeah, the majority of the sum mentioned definitely is constituted by bribe money.
Finally some good news.
The only people that “invested” in this were either:

- Idiots
