Download your copies of wikipedia as much and as often as you can in the next few years … it’s all either going to get diluted, debased, dumbed down or sections of it deleted as time goes on. The private sector and private enterprises have been wanting to get rid of it for years. The only way we can really protect it is if we all get our own current copy that has currently not been too affected too much.
So life if I wanted to download all the TEXT from the site now (obviously media like images and such will ballon to size) how much we talking…? Internet articles vary between 20Gb and 418TB…
Current English text only looks like 24.7GB.
