    Click the link. The video is crazy! 10 minutes of the CEO saying if they want a union they can have a union. 70% of workers want a union.

    Extremely disappointing from a non-profit organisation. They’re wasting money by not voluntarily recognising. Fuck Jimmy Wales for hiring union busting lawyers. Need to host it elsewhere!

    They’re trying to bring wikipedia down this way, aren’t they? I have to admit, this is a fantastic approach, find an issue everyone hates and then beat it to death. We have to protect wikipedia at all costs. Jimmy Wales, let them unionize before you lose the best thing you’ve ever done for the world.

    Download your copies of wikipedia as much and as often as you can in the next few years … it’s all either going to get diluted, debased, dumbed down or sections of it deleted as time goes on. The private sector and private enterprises have been wanting to get rid of it for years. The only way we can really protect it is if we all get our own current copy that has currently not been too affected too much.

    That seems like the kind of thing you’d do right before you start charging for it as a product and going to for-profit business model.
