As a vegan American traveling in Mexico there were a couple times I got frustrated and ended up just getting an Impossible burger from some hipster looking place, but it did make me feel American as fuck.
With my non-vegan wife’s family it was shockingly difficult to find even that. Though Mexican food is dead easy to cook vegan at home, people there barely understand vegetarianism let alone veganism. Things are often cooked in animal fat, meat broth, etc.
That’s obviously not what I’m saying. Have any of you ever been to Mexico? Do you even speak Spanish? Maybe keep your fucking mouth shut if you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.
