This happened at the last utility I worked for, the poor thing used his body to complete a circuit that was supposed to be open at a substation, one main breaker and several feeders popped open which resulted in about half the feeders going down, several neighborhoods lost power. I dont remember the exact numbers but I think he was channeling about 8MW before the breakers tripped, probably the most powerful squirrel in the universe for a moment.

Somewhere I saw an article stating Colorado power stations were victim to a suspected foreign actor attack… I wonder if it was the squirrels all along?? Lol
Good instinct, though I suspect this ridiculous story of squirrels is just covering up a laundry fire inside the substation.
