Well I’m definitely talking about the novels cuz you don’t publish a TV series. But what either one has to do with being newer than Star Wars I’m not sure. That’s not the point of this post y’all know that right?
It’s exactly the point. “A new Star Wars or Marvel within our lifetime” was the prediction, and we’re arguing that one such example has already existed. Unless you are a child and weren’t alive/conscious and therefore don’t consider it within your lifetime?
Exactly how are you reading that wrong? A new Star Wars or Marvel. A new massive universe. As the next sentence you didn’t quote says , something new and original not based on existing properties. Not specifically those two things. They’re just examples. This is basic reading comprehension.
Oh buddy. In a discussion about basic reading comprehension you’re confused because not everything’s literally spelled out and you had to comprehend a message. I mean ouch.
No that’s a “I would expect someone with basic reading comprehension to have understood that when they used Star Wars or Marvel as an example they meant a big universe that spawns a myriad of stories and acts as a cultural touchstone.” But since you couldn’t parcel that out fir yourself I am now quite sad for you. Stiff upper lip there champ.
Yes obviously. Game of Thrones is a good example of that. It’s why the original post could have used that as their example instead of Star Wars or Marvel. Because the example wasn’t the point. Don’t know many ways I have to say that until you get it. Just circling around that reading comprehension issue aren’t we?

Please screenshot the bit where it says “a new massive universe”.

So that’s a no…? You can’t?

You just described Game of Thrones lol
