Really impressed with this Youtube downloader that was just suggested in Bazaar, Bazzite’s package manager. I thought there would be no meta data for artists or albums, but it’s all there. And since it runs locally there are no ads or bullshit about slowing down unless you pay.
Spent my lunch break getting distracted by my own nails - they’re so hard to show through photos. Just know they are very sparkly.

Still planning to go back this week with further plans to better meal prep for next week and beyond.

Paragraphs about buying light bulbs
I am never buying LED lights from normal retail channels ever again. I effectively got 8 bulbs for $1.09ea (with coupons) on AliExpress. They have a perfect 3000K warm white colour and I tailored the brightness to the application – 3W bulbs for the range hood, 5W bulbs for ceiling down lights.
You can pick from 4 different brightnesses, three different colour temperatures, 38 or 120 degree beam angle, and whether they are dimmable. Try doing that with Australian stock. Impossible.
The main differences are no retail packaging, and they don’t come in an 60 degree beam angle which seems to be the standard in Australia. I can’t tell a difference between 60 and 38 though.
The 6 pack I bought from Bunnings for $19.50 have a disgusting pink hue to them and are too bright. Absolute crap.
AliExpress is underrated. Aussie shops buy from China anyway so why not cut out the middleman and their 200% markup.

I am alive! Just feeling a bit flat and boring lately, so don’t really have anything to post about. Hopefully the longer days will perk things up a bit more 🙂
But… from a personal POV, I want to know the mundane. Yes, I’m a shameless Know It All who often doesn’t reply in order to not appear as overbearing, but I LOVE to see what everyone is up to - we all come from such different aspects of life, it’s so interesting for me to read about your gardening pursuits or Mr Woof’s opinion on someone or even how the sky near you is looking let alone how fascinating your job must be from an outsider’s perspective. Thank you for sharing and I hope you continue to!

Not that I know of. Although I believe the really really frilly kind would probably be inappropriate given the origin text. The standard colour called ‘petunia’ is usually a pale-ish magenta.
