I’ve spent much of my afternoon cleaning silver. Two cutlery sets, silver coasters, silver place mats, a sugar bowl and a beautiful silver-inlaid glass vase.

The forks are so clean, my hands so dirty.

Considering I’m wearing a WHITE SHIRT, I don’t look too disreputable

Ugh my mother used to make me do it. Cleaning the silver was one of my many childhood jobs. To this day I avoid anything silver. You did well to sit there and do it all.

    spoiler

Strange how even some really shitty times were better than this because Melbcat was still with me.

Looking through photos and videos of her. She was so loving, so funny, and such a beautiful cat. I wish I had more videos. Especially of the mundane things I saw every day. Of her walking back in from the other room, and of her coming to the side of my bed waiting for me to lift the doona and let her climb in. It was the routine and how I remember her.

Now I’m seeing tiny odd little symptoms I recorded adding up.

    I just want her back.

    just a little more sleep

my phone and computer tell me it’s early but my watch and wall clock tell me I had an extra hour of sleep , so that was 6 hrs without waking up , really minimising dairy and sulphites has helped so much

also, Easter Bunny came and left treats 🐇

If I have one sq inch of white choc bunny a day I should be ok

The gym ecosystem is wild hey.

It’s a study in what happens when a bunch of dudes (mostly) play a dick measuring contest scored by grunting.

Yesterday was a big success (I think) w/ the downpipes. Had 2 hoses going in (one town and one tank) for 30mins and seems good.

    No injuries lol.

Birds were using one of the gutters as a bird bath but since re-attaching one of the corners water is moving the right way again so yay (sorry birds).

Next downpour should be okay or at least less bad.

But 2 phobias… Antlophobia (flood) and Ombrophobia (rain) should subside.

Every few nights usually get weird dreams of falling off shit. but since going up that ladder so many times in the last month or so they’ve stopped for now. Not the safest way to deal with that but hey it worked. Don’t feel fear in real life up there but the dreams are wild. Also the dreams of tripping on shit have stopped. Weird brain.

Time to put the ladder away and wait for something else to break and find a new phobia.

Lentish for me went really well. I ate a custard tart and a medium packet of peanut m&m’s because of special occasions and that’s it.

On Friday I ate a hot cross bun. I’m gonna try and go as long as I can and when I indulge no big deal.

Back in uni days used to get wasted, hide the eggs night before then wake up the next day and try and find them. Simpler times lol.

I love them. All of them except no fruit because what’s the point. Anyway the amount of butter I lay on is dangerous so that’s why I’ve limited my dosage.

Ooooo wow. Here’s my recipe. Cut in half. Toast. Butter. Butter again. Peanut butter, a small drizzle of honey and chilli flakes. Works on toast too.

I’ve got a spare water heater I was using for aeroponics if you want it (same as a fish tank heater). Not very big though. I have no need for it.
