Attorney General Pam Bondi has been fired, a senior administration official and a source familiar with the matter told NBC News.

Donald Trump had grown “more and more frustrated”  with Bondi in recent days, a person familiar with White House deliberations said, adding that while he likes her as a person, he doesn’t think she has “executed on his vision” in the way that he wants.

According to a source familiar with the decision, Todd Blanche will be the acting attorney general, effective immediately.

They’re all gonna get thrown under the bus. Every one of the Trump regime either knew and joined up anyway or deluded themselves into thinking they would be one to ride the wave, not drown in it.

      As was always the plan.

No one thought she was good, ever. She was always scape goat. Now we’ll see next 3 years of everything being blamed on her, Obama, Clinton and Biden.

This is somewhat of a bigger deal than others (like Noem) because Trump has known Bondi since at least 2013. Most of the other people in Trump’s orbit have only been “friends” since his first administration, but he has known her for much longer.

I thought he would have circled back to Matt Gaetz, that would be ok now that elite pedophilia is totally normalized.

The AG who helped hide Trump’s crimes has been dismissed right before she was to testify about those crimes and her own.

“We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future,”

Transitioned to a private sector job to be determined is this year’s toilet tweet firing.

It’s a revolving door of fascists. So don’t expect anything better. Most likely worse as things continue to devolve.

Imagine working for rapist Donald Trump knowing you’re going to get thrown under the bus and be a pariah for the rest of your life. Gotta be real stupid and/or evil.

    Todd Blanche:

In his personal capacity, he represented several figures associated with president Donald Trump and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, including Trump’s former campaign manager, Paul Manafort; the businessman Igor Fruman; and the attorney Boris Epshteyn.

In April 2023, prior to his arraignment, Trump hired Blanche to defend him in the District Attorney’s Office of New York County’s prosecution of the former president over concealed hush-money payments to Stormy Daniels. Blanche later defended him in the federal classified documents and election obstruction cases. He led Trump’s defense in his criminal trial.

In November 2024, following his victory in the 2024 presidential election, Trump named Blanche as his nominee for deputy attorney general. He was confirmed by the Senate in March 2025.

Literally just hiring his own lawyers, decades after any competent lawyer stopped working for him…
