0·2 days agoGetting food delivered is handy when I’m looking after my kids by myself, but not something I’m in the habit of using, probably use it once per year
I had to use uber once in the last year when the taxi failed to turn up and I needed to get to the airport.
I avoid them for the most part as I can find other ways of doing things cheaper

I’m pretty sure the Mamluks started as captured/tribute slave warriors so it seems unlikely that there’d be a female in that culture and period

94·14 days agoI believe 10% of a lithium battery is lithium. I mean, it’s impressive and I love a closed loop for the life of any component, but this doesn’t really solve our need for more lithium. Reduce it yes, but not end the requirement for more extraction
I would, but for the most part, most of the things I read don’t seem to show up on torrent lists
I love this, but for me the biggest issue is that I don’t own anything on kindle. I wish there was a way to easily buy and own ebooks like they’re was with songs and bandcamp
