I was not very interested in seeing the new The Odyssey film, but considering the nonstop conniption fit that the MAGAs keeps having about it, now I absolutely have to see it. Certainly, it must be a cinematic masterpiece if it makes them this angry.

It has been my experience that any film’s artistic value (or that of any artistic work, for that matter) is directly proportional to how angry it makes the MAGA crowd. At this point, it’s practically the strongest endorsement of an artistic work’s intrinsic value.

Paradoxically, I’ll open GOG to replay Riven or Ultima Underworld, and I’ll find my last save, and feel silly seeing the last place I got stuck.

The Asahi Linux Project has made a great deal of progress on that front. They’ve got it running on up to the M2, with the M3 in development.

Not gonna lie: I really like both. I like variety in my life.

I also really like fedora on my old iMac. It makes for an excellent Plex server.

But macOS is getting much less impressive with every iteration, and as cool as Apple Silicon is, I’m less and less attracted to it because of its narrowing support for software.

But Apple has a new CEO now, and I’m interested to see what direction he’s gonna take the company.

If you want obscure, you can always go with A/UX running on an bunch of Apple Quadra 700s. If it can run Jurassic Park, it’s good enough for me!

This bill is really about raising the bar of requirements for what is considered “acceptable proof of citizenship” to documents that most citizens don’t typically have and can’t easily obtain (especially poorer citizens), a large group that typically votes Democratic. By disenfranchising such a large group of Democratic voters, this would heavily skew elections towards Republicans.

There is no possible reading of that article that could lead an intelligent person to that conclusion.
