I really like that aspect of his music because you can learn his songs in a really simple way on guitar and it’s fine, or you can learn the really complicated way and it elevates the piece.

That’s funny because Divide was my least favourite album of his, and it came out when I was in high school. Everything before Divide > everything after Divide > Divide.

Shape of You is horrible but listen to Songs I Wrote With Amy, +, Loose Change, or X, and he’s incredibly talented.

I generally disagree with everything else you’re saying but something that hasn’t been called out is that The Indies was never used to refer to India, the country. In current day, there’s the West Indies, which are annoyingly next to North America. In the past, East Indies or ‘The Indies’ referred to the greater Indian peninsula, but not the country itself, and not West Indies. By using this example, you’ve highlighted a flaw in your argument that the term ‘America’ has to encapsulate North America and South America, as ‘The Indies’ doesn’t even encapsulate West Indies.

Okay, tell me about one situation where yelling at someone achieves anything. I can’t remember the last time I yelled at anyone.
