        could be

that first kind of cough medicine gave me weird arse dreams. In one I was being chased by a mean Ricky Gervais. I like Ricky and was so confused. Another I met a childhood friend.

Hmm… Carpet shampooer can’t exactly clean the cat tree and I don’t want to throw it out. I found a multi steamer that does carpet on Amazon for $150. It could be useful for this plus the next plague this cursed realm sends me. (There’s been quite a few.)

I’m wondering if I should sell some of my existing stuff to declutter a bit and recoup some money. The budget is… looking very sad. But that means dealing with the public. And I would have to fix some stuff (particularly the low solar panel output which could be due to the crappy connections) which I don’t have the energy to do.

Decisions can wait until I’m feeling less stressed

I’m addicted to this game called Triple Match City. It’s like a Where’s Wally where you gotta beat the clock. Such fun.

Okay so I may have stayed up a bit too late watching Mentour Pilot on yt. This is satiating my aircraft investigations craving.

I have never felt safer on a plane now, honestly.

Almost stepped on a tiny skink. Managed to hover my foot mid step as it ran away. So glad I didn’t kill it! I would have been so sad.

Holy crap. Oil in the wok was a bit too hot/water content in food a bit to high and oil splattered onto the gas burner - whoosh. got it stopped but not before it made a mess of the range hood. Holy crap that was close. Gonna need a new rangehood (from whom does one even buy a rangehood?). Excuse me while I go freak out in the corner for a bit

Scary. Is there any chance fire could have spread up the ducting in the rangehood? If so you might want the brigade to check the roof as a precaution - and you many need to get a report for an insurance claim too.

I think it’s really important that YarraByte creates this thread.

I see Lemmy 1.0 (currently in Alpha) has post scheduling by default, which I’m sure will solve this almost completely. In the meantime, have mods/admin exhausted all other options to keep YB stable? Could we chip in for a good quality webcron service? They’re pretty cheap.

Of course two days before a trip I get the worst period I’ve had in months. Pain, mess and crying.

But on the other hand… two days until a trip!

it’s because you are relaxed and have less stress hormones

      annoying but true

travel often makes periods worse because sitting in very upright positions for long times increases blood pressure to lower half of body

I haven’t started the travel, so the stress is still hiiiigh. Leaving in under 48hr, won’t even pack until we’re a few hours from leaving. Thankfully the flight isn’t pretty short!

Typical. Mine loves a good holiday and usually waits until I’m away. Especially if I’m doing something awkward like camping somewhere that doesn’t have toilets.

Mega sympathy! I’m much enjoying dealing with that less often, but the lack of predictability makes the emotional suckfulness much harder to keep in check. Easier to not be blubbering mega bitch when you know that’s the reason

Previously predictable to 13 hours. And possibly PMDD if I’d ever heard of it earlier. Choc/heat/drugs as you need
