I was sick of seeing political stuff on the shitposting group so I started bombarding it with corn until it stopped. I had happened to have a bunch of corn pictures saved on my phone because I had flooded my friend’s discord with corn pictures just to goof on her.
It spiraled into a glorious corn filled nightmare insanity, and as someone from Ohio, I appreciate that.
I think the beans came up later because people like to play with themes.

Bruh, bacon was different. I don’t think anyone here is going to build an entire brand and livelihood around bacon. Sometimes I think the whole bacon thing might’ve been a government PSI op.

The 196 community has an (unenforced) rule that you must post every time you visit, so they’re posts that are following the rule.
Disclosure: I don’t know the full lore and I’m only answering because nobody else has.
My vague understanding is that this is unique to the ‘196’ community which has a community rule that every post must include the word “rule” in the title post. So it’s super common to see because it’s an active community. Beyond that I don’t really understand what the community is about as it seems to have a random variety of posts.
